After spending 72 hours running around NYC and then the whole weekend flying to Africa, I finally rebranded my LinkedIn this week to reflect my latest career pivot (or expansion).

I did NOT anticipate the courage it would take to evolve my whole professional identity in 1 giant update.

I'm not new to evolution, but this is my boldest public identity shift yet.

This wasn't a slight tweak, it's full-bodied f*ck yes ownership over what I was put on this planet to do.

And that's terrifying. All sorts of B.S. fears popped up.

I was reminded:

Your internal identity dictates the professional identity you choose.

You get to choose that narrative that tells people how to perceive you.

First, get clear on your value. Then, create the narrative you want people to remember you for.

Now, I am publicly claiming my new professional identity...

​I'm a Business and Leadership Mentor for All In Women building their Living Legacy.

I'm not just a coach, I'm an Identity Expander, Scaling Strategist, and Speaker too.

Did I nail it perfectly? Probably not. I'll keep iterating over time.

Your professional identity is simply a public draft. You get to keep refining it.

This is important:

Before I could make the external change that everyone can see, I had to give myself permission.

Permission to admit that I had outgrown the "Career Coach" label.
Permission to explore what wanted to emerge without pressure.
Permission to sunset my core revenue stream & community.
Permission to be seen as a beginner again.

Permission to EVOLVE.

As I've been navigating this evolution, I've learned that it's par for the course. Most business owners pivot from their first era of business.

And all women who desire to create global impact at scale require evolution. Not once. But continuously.

I've also seen that most women craving their next level struggle to give themselves the necessary Permission.
