What to do when 💩 hits the fan

I just finished my first real speaking event! But I almost didn't make it to stage...

The past 2 days I was out sick with an awful stomach bug.

I was pretty bummed because I had planned to host a live Identity Activation yesterday for 50 women, and I was worried I wouldn't feel ok for this speaking event.

Felt like everything was crashing at once.
Looping thoughts. Couldn't sleep.

My anxiety was on high alert.

I decided to surrender. What was meant to be, would be.

Before I went to bed, I prayed I'd wake up feeling better.

I tapped into the feeling of "it's already done", feeling like the event went so smoothly. I envisioned waking up with a fresh wave of energy.

And then it happened.

Today, I felt better just in time to show up to speak on the Career & Lifestyle Design Panel at Nomad Week in Cape Town.

The panel was a blast... and because I had to reschedule the event to Monday the 2nd, I got to invite every woman in the room building her soul-aligned business, brand, and life to attend my activation too!!

Win-win-win.

Life has a funny way of alwayyyys working out. Especially when you let go of your tight grip of controlling every step and surrender to the flow.

I share this to remind you:

When it looks like things are falling apart, sometimes they're simply clicking together.
