This week felt like a commencement.

The end of an era. The start of another.

I hosted the last EVER call inside The Purposeful Path Accelerator — the career coaching program and community I built and ran for the past (nearly) 2 years to help high-achieving generalists navigate career transitions.

I invited all the alumni back to celebrate how much they'd evolved. Everyone could feel the love & gratitude in the Zoom room.

2 years of showing up for each other, being honest, messy, and BRAVE week over week — all culminated in shoutouts to the community members who'd been there for one another during the professional identity evolution that comes with making a career change.

One of the most brilliant humans I've had the honor of working with even said "this was one of the best experiences I've ever had."

My heart is full. I am so glad I didn't give up on my vision.

Here's why this matters for you building your business, especially if you're in the messy middle right now:

2 years ago, I was feeling lost in the sauce.

I knew I wanted to switch from 1:1 to group coaching, but I wasn't sure I had what it takes.

The first time I launched PPA, one friend signed up. I was ecstatic!

I launched again the next month. No one joined...

I didn't give up though.

I went again - started more conversations, refined the messaging, and continued selling.

6 people joined the next month.

Then 12. Then 8.

A year and a half later, nearly 100 people had joined — because I moved before I was ready, decided to keep going long enough to create momentum, and built a culture rooted in collaboration over competition that ensured people got crazy results.

Sitting on our final call, witnessing each person reflect on what shifted most for them, it was evident:

The inner work - the mindset & identity evolution - was always the secret sauce.

Both for me in my own business building journey & for my clients navigating their own professional evolutions.

The strategy is simple when you're the kind of person who can execute it. Identity is what powers real change.

I heard so many examples from clients who'd evolved dramatically since before they joined:

Client D refused every opportunity that wasn't right, and landed a role far better than what he was originally targeting. Because you're always rewarded when you don't settle.

Client L no longer recognized the version of herself who used to shrink before asking for the compensation she deserved. Now, she's expanding her own team with confidence.

Client L chose the next role that felt right to her instead of what looked best on paper. 12 months later, it was absolutely the right move.

Client B came in wanting a new role. Instead, she left with permission to build her own thing & bet on herself 100%.

Their lessons ring true for you too:

→ You don't need to be ready. You just need to be brave.

The moves you're waiting to make are waiting for your decision to MOVE. Before you have the perfect plan, and definitely without knowing how it'll turn out.

→ Everything flows and follows from how much you value yourself.

Will you settle for "should" in life, or keep going All In until you reach the success you know you're capable of? Will you claim your worth and ensure you're well compensated for it?

→ Being in the right community is everything.

A lot of communities are surface level and performative. Join spaces where you can be met and supported where you are - whether you're riding high on a win or navigating the lower moments. Where the strategy is supported by who you are BEING as you take action. It makes all the difference.

When you're insanely growth-oriented, you will feel like you're in the messy middle... a lot.

Whether you're building a business you haven't launched yet, coming back from a launch that didn't land and deciding whether to go again, or still going All In even though the proof hasn't shown up yet and some days life feels like a freefall...

I need you to remember:

The world needs your magic. Your work has always been enough.

People are waiting on your evolution. They need your gifts. They need the community you're building.

It's going to change their lives forever.

They just haven't found out about you yet!!!

You have to believe in yourself first. Before the proof. Before the room fills up. Before someone tells you it was one of the best experiences of their life. And sell your heart out like their transformation depends on it... because it does!

That's the job of entrepreneurship.

Keep going. I promise it's worth it.

2 years from now you'll cry tears of gratitude too.
